Pre-owned Writer Limited Warranty

Top Cat Steno, Inc. warrants writer's mechanical and electronic parts to be free from defects in materials and workmanship excluding ribbon, ribbon spool, ribbon cartridge, housing, tripod and carrying case, for a period of one (1) year from date of invoice.

First 30 Days of Warranty:  For the first thirty (30) days of warranty, Top Cat Steno, Inc. will cover 2-day shipment to and from customer in the continental United States.  Customer must contact Top Cat Steno, Inc. to setup a warranty work order for warranty work.  For shipping to be covered by Top Cat Steno, Inc., customer must obtain shipping authorization and Top Cat Steno, Inc.'s shipping account number.  Top Cat Steno, Inc. will not reimburse any shipping cost incurred by customer.

After 30 Days:  After thirty (30) days, customer will be responsible for all shipping costs and must contact Top Cat Steno, Inc. to setup a warranty work order for warranty work.

Seven Business Day Return Policy:  If customer is not satisfied with writer, customer should notify Top Cat Steno, Inc. within seven (7) business days after receipt of writer.  Top Cat Steno, Inc. will refund customer the purchase price of writer excluding any shipping charges, upon receipt of writer and accessories by Top Cat Steno, Inc.  Top Cat Steno, Inc. must receive writer within twenty-eight (28) business days of invoice date.

Warranty Nullification:  This warranty will be null and void if damage to specified writer arises out of misuse, abuse, or failure to properly maintain the writer.  Any adjustment, replacement of any part, or other work on this writer undertaken by any company other than Top Cat Steno, Inc. will void this warranty.  This warranty applies to writer only.
