It is difficult to find double sided, double density disk, if not impossible. With a minor modification you can easily change a high density disk into a double density disk. The picture below shows a high density disk and a double density disk. There is an additional hole on the high density disk marked "Extra Hole" (the extra hole tells your PC that the disk is a high density disk). By covering the hole your PC is fooled into thinking that the disk is a double density disk). Step 1: Fold a piece of Scotch tape over the edge of the disk where the tape will cover the extra hole on both sides of the disk. Step 2: Now format the disk in your writer. Your writer will format the disk as a double density disk (It is important to format the disk in your writer). The disk should now work as a double density disk.
