Maintenance

Expert testing and a 75-point quality control inspection means your writer works perfectly.

  • Pre-diagnostic testing

  • Chemically cleaned using our proprietary two-chemical power cleaning process

  • General wear inspection of all parts

  • Lubrication of all internal and external mechanical parts

  • Replacement of upper and lower keyboard pads

  • Replacement of stop pads, platen, and ribbon advance wheel

  • Diagnostics on Realtime, SD receptacles, disk drive, battery charging and voltage regulating circuits

  • Adjustments to manufacturer specifications (unless custom adjustments requested)

  • A final 75-point quality control inspection before reassembly and external housing is cleaned

Writer Repair Rate is $90 per hour, plus cost of parts.

Used and preowned writers

We purchase, sell, and consign used writers. If a writer is meets our stringent requirements for consignment and resale, our team performs maintenance and repair to restore the writer to manufacturer specifications. All of our writers come with a warranty and free lifetime support.
